Meeting Summary
Your Board of Directors met on February 15, 2003. The lion's share of the meeting was spent on weather related operational issues.
As you can imagine, ice dams, frozen pipes and snow plowing has been keeping Northern Woods extremely busy. The good news is that with the frozen pipes, Northern Woods is going beyond the quick fix so that hopefully a longer term solution will be achieved. The snow plowing this year has been made more challenging by the strong winds, frigid temperatures and cars which remain in parking lots during plowing. This last item we can do something about-when you or your guests see the plow approaching, please move your cars momentarily while they clear your parking spaces.
Another issue that came up during the past month was that Northern Woods increased our thermostats to 65 degrees during their Thursday inspections. They feel that this action averted many more problems than actually occurred.
Also during the meeting the Website Committee reported that John Bruni will be collecting data from owners to be posted on our website. Please keep an eye out for these forms and help John in any way you can.
The Association renewed its pest control contract with Presidential. Sorry the contract does not cover spouses.
Our next meeting is on March 15 at 8 AM in Unit 6D.
